A Message From Ava

Hello!

My name is Ava Chilelli. I'm the CEO of YUM by Avachilellicooks, an e-commerce mico-bakery based in Toronto, Canada!

As a kid, I have always loved to bake and cook. When I wasn't working at a local French Patisserie and Boulangerie in the Beaches, I'd be attached to the food network for hours, drawn in by all the different ingredients and techniques, becoming a self-thought baker.

In 2018 I graduated from the hospitality and food administration business commerce program at the University of Guelph; after graduation, I moved to England, where I worked a 9-5 office job which I quickly realized wasn't the path for me. However, COVID was a blessing in disguise as I lost my job. It forced me to focus on my true passion for creating in the kitchen, and that's when YUM by Avachilellicooks was born.

When I'm not baking, I teach cooking classes and workshops at the Beaches Sandbox and serve at a couple restaurants in the city's east end!

Nothing is more yummy than a homemade dessert made with love and care. Dessert makes people happy, and it makes me happy; that is why YUM was started and why I look forward to every new order placed.
